Creative Process
The work emerges from a contemplative approach to image-making that blends representation and abstraction to create narrative thresholds—spaces of pause where viewers are invited into reflection rather than instruction. Each piece is shaped through intentional art direction across concept, composition, and color, with an emphasis on atmosphere, restraint, and emotional resonance.
The creative process draws from both observed and imagined moments, exploring liminal spaces where the seen and unseen converge. These spaces function as visual metaphors for transition, mystery, and hope, echoing journeys that are at once personal and universal. The work is less concerned with depicting answers than with creating environments where meaning can unfold quietly over time.
Contemporary technologies, including generative imagery, are incorporated as part of an expanded studio process, serving as reference and exploratory material rather than endpoints. They allow for the examination of possibilities, forms, and light beyond conventional limits, while the final work remains the result of human selection, refinement, and authorship. Advanced digital tools are used to shape, through discernment, what is kept, what is removed, and what is allowed to remain unresolved. Each final work is 100% rendered by hand using a digital paint brush.
At its core, this hybrid creative process is grounded in intention rather than technique. Its aim is to create immersive visual experiences that offer a sense of stillness, presence, and hope for what lies ahead—works that function as contemplative anchors within an increasingly accelerated world.
